Queensland worker trapped in conveyor belt - 16.11.15

Emergency services were called to a property in southeast Queensland on Thursday morning to free a man after his arm became trapped in a conveyor belt.

The man was working with machinery at a property 110 km from Brisbane at about 9am when the incident happened.

He was transported to a Brisbane hospital in a stable condition.

A similar incident near Mooroopna last week left a woman with serious head injuries. The woman was cleaning machinery when she became trapped in a conveyor belt.

WorkSafe is still investigating the incident.
