Worker killed in conveyor belt incident north of Brisbane - 13.3.20

A man has died after he was trapped in a conveyor belt at a workplace in south east Queensland.

The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon.

Police and emergency services were called to a business in Narangba, north of Brisbane just after midday.

Queensland ambulance paramedics said the man in his 30s was in a critical condition when they arrived at the scene.

Attempts to revive the man were unsuccessful.

He died at the scene. Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is investigating.
